Tree Service for Lake Panorama Homes
Grounded Tree Co. is based in Panora, just down the road from Lake Panorama, and we're glad to take on lake lots. Lake properties come with their own tree challenges, and we plan every job around them.
Tree work on a lake lot
Tight spaces. Homes sit close together and close to the water. With our bucket trucks and specialized rear lot equipment, we take trees down in controlled pieces instead of dropping them, so nothing lands on a roof, deck, boat lift or dock.
Slopes and shoreline. Many lots slope toward the water. We set up carefully and keep the mess out of the lake.
Views. Thoughtful trimming can open up a view of the water without topping or butchering the tree.
Oaks. The lake has plenty of oaks. The Iowa DNR recommends pruning oaks between November 1 and mid-March to avoid spreading oak wilt (Iowa DNR, Oct. 6, 2026), which makes late fall and winter the right time to book oak work at the lake.
Seasonal homes. Not at the lake right now? We can look at the job, text you photos and an estimate, and do the work while you're away.
Check with the LPA first
Lake Panorama is governed by the Lake Panorama Association, and it's always a good idea to call the LPA office before tree work. The LPA can require permits for some work on lots (see its Building Codes), and cutting live trees on LPA-owned ground needs the LPA's written permission. We're happy to help you figure out what to ask before we start. LPA office: (641) 755-2301 · lakepanorama.org.
